We don't do split shifts. And you won't hear the usual restaurant talk from us: "Overtime shows your commitment". Total nonsense!
We do our job, and we do it at every station.
What makes us special is that we work in a shift system: the shift from 8:00 to 17:00 covers the prep work in the morning and then handles the lunch service together with the 12:00 shifts. In the afternoon, these colleagues (8:00 shift and 12:00 shift) prepare the evening service. The 15:00/17:00 shifts then come in for the evening service and only have to "send out" the dishes. This way, the overtime from the long shifts is balanced out again in the short shifts, everyone is happy and nobody is worn out.
The system stands or falls on the fact that everyone can do everything. Nobody is obliged to, and of course everyone may have their favorite station, but by and large everyone should be able to do everything.
Just imagine: before your days off you are on the early shift and finish at 15:00 or 17:00, and after your days off you are on the late shift... see what we mean? Pretty good, right?

Note: All advertised jobs can be filled by student assistants, full-time and part-time workers.
