General Terms and Conditions for Catering Services.Status: 01.01.2024Our guests - Not our guests
- We reserve the right to refuse service to groups whose behaviour we consider to jeopardize the smooth running of our restaurant, to cancel the reservation and to issue a cancellation invoice, for which you authorize us with your reservation.
- We do not accept bachelor parties (JGAs) as reservations. We also reserve the right to refuse our service to guests who are conspicuous by their appearance or by obviously excessive alcohol consumption, as well as an obvious loss of control for us, to cancel the reservation and to issue a cancellation invoice, for which you legitimize us with your reservation.
- For groups of 8 people or more, we take the liberty of requesting a billing address at the time of booking.
Cancellations - Our guests We appeal to our guests to take reservations as seriously as we do and of course hope that we can welcome you to your booked appointment. Unfortunately, however, it happens time and again that reservations are not taken. This results in high costs. A free table can easily cost us several hundred euros. If you are forced to cancel your event or reservation or reduce the number of people, please inform us in writing as soon as possible, at the latest 48 hours in advance. In the event of a no-show without having previously canceled the reservation in writing in due time ("no-show"), we reserve the right to charge EUR 28.00 per person if we are unable to reserve the reserved table for another person. In principle, we will of course endeavor to allocate unused places elsewhere. For reservations of 8 persons or more: Cancellations up to 14 days in advance are free of charge. In the case of short-term cancelations, we reserve the right to charge for the loss:
- 13 to 7 days in advance 25 % of the no-show amount of Euro 28.00 per person.
- From the 6th to the 3rd day 50 % of the no-show amount of Euro 28.00 per person.
- Cancellation from 2 days before the planned event, 100% of the no-show amount.
Changes in the number of persons must be communicated up to 48 hours in advance. After that we are forced to charge the cancellation fee of Euro 28.00 per person for reserved but "empty" chairs. The booked cancellation amount must be paid on site in cash or cashless by credit or EC card.
- We ask for your understanding that we reserve the right to change tables or rooms if the number of guests changes.
Prices and seasonal fluctuations
- All prices are quoted and agreed in euros (EUR/€). Should prices change significantly due to seasonal fluctuations, we reserve the right to recalculate our prices accordingly.
Your wishes - Our concern
- We would like to point out that we are happy to accept room or table requests and fulfill them if possible. It is very important to us that you feel at home with us. However, we ask for your understanding that your wishes and our promises are not binding for us. Should our reservation situation change, we reserve the right to change your desired table or room so that the utilization of our restaurant is optimal.
- Please understand that due to the design and interior of the location and the directly connected CHASE Bar, no guests under the age of 10 can be received. In the neighboring restaurant Backöfele we warmly welcome our younger guests.
Souvenirs - food & drinks
Food and drinks are provided exclusively by the restaurant. Exceptions require prior agreement. The purpose of our in-house controls and measures in accordance with the HACCP concept (hygiene protection regulation) is to prevent health effects from the consumption of food. Unfortunately, our controls and measures do not apply to food brought in (e.g. cakes). We ask for your understanding that we cannot assume any warranty for these products.
- If you bring your own cake, we will charge a plate charge of 6.50 euros per person or per place setting for setting the tables and serving. The document "Salmonella and allergen risk for cakes brought along" must also be completed in advance.
- We charge 12 euros per liter for wine brought in to ensure that our overhead costs are covered.
Force majeure
- In the event of force majeure or other hindrances for which the catering business is not responsible, in particular those outside the sphere of influence of the catering business, the catering business reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in part or in full without the customer being entitled to any claim.
Losses and damage
- The customer shall be liable to the catering establishment to the full extent of its liability or public liability for damage or loss occurring during an event or its duration, unless the damage is the responsibility of the catering establishment or was caused by a third party and the third party actually pays compensation, which must be proven by the customer in each case.
Payments
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the service personnel are required to accept payment in cash or cashless by credit or debit card.
- The agreed prices include VAT at the applicable rate.
- Invoices from Backöfele/CHASE are payable within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction.
Our GTC can be viewed on our website. By completing your reservation, you declare that you agree to all GTC. A further, independent declaration of consent is not obtained.
